Ecumenical, Liturgical, Credal and Welcoming.
Fr Crawshaw is an Anglo-Catholic priest ordained in The Church of England but with a passion for ecumenism and community life. Rev Clinton Crawshaw was born in Woking, in the United Kingdom, and trained at St Steophen’s House, a private hall of the University of Oxford, and was ordained in 2002 at St Paul’s Cathedral, London by The Rt Revd Richard Chartres, the Bishop of London. After serving part of his curacy in the Diocese of London he served churches in London, England, New Orleans, Louisiana and Palm Springs, California. He is the Founder of The Society of All Souls, a religious 501(c)3 organisation.
The Society of All Souls is a Credal (it adheres to the three historic creeds of the Christian Church), ecumenical (it does not require denominational fidelity to take part) Christian society founded to promote, support and prosper the contemplative communal life, to organize and provide public worship in the liturgical tradition, to encourage and model hospitality, to pray for the dying and the bereaved and to raise funds both for the burial of the dead, and to provide dignified Christian services for those who die either unloved or in poverty. The Society is inspired by and rooted in the historic traditions of Anglo Catholicism but welcomes all regardless of denominational affiliations.
