Powerful testimony, insightful conversation, delicious food, fellowship.
Our Dinner Panel on Courage this past Tuesday was a huge success.

Our panelists included:

- Kenny Miller, attorney, who showed us what it looks like to take a leap of faith in your career and not be afraid to be authentically Catholic in the workplace

- Sr Elma Calajatan, Sister of Mt Carmel, who reminded us that the ONLY thing that remains forever is our relationship with God, so do not be afraid to do His will.

- Dr. Angela Parise, OB-GYN physician, told us her story of unwavering commitment to Catholic morals in the face of unremitting opposition and persecution, and reminded us the only way forward is not by mustering personal strength, but by relying solely of the immense love of Jesus and His grace.

- Noel Marcantel, commercial and portrait photographer, business owner, and US Marine, who reminded us that courage and fortitude is a muscle that must be exercised on a regular basis in little ways to be prepared for the bigger challenges in life.

Our generous sponsors Zuppardos Family Market made it possible to have a delicious meal to enhance our fellowship and conversation.

Until next year’s panel!

And mark your calendars for our May Happy Hour on 5/12 at 762 Coffee and Cocktails in Lakeview!

Our local New Orleans chapter was honored that our president Trevor was named outstanding chapter leader of the year at this past weekend’s YCP National Conference in Dallas!

We’ve been so blessed this year with an outstanding leadership team that works so hard to put on each of our events and make this community feel like home for all of our members and visitors. This award was truly one for the team!

Stay tuned for our May Happy Hour 5/12 at 762 Cocktails!!

We cannot thank local business Zuppardos Family Market enough for the generosity in providing dinner for Tuesday’s Young Catholic Professionals Dinner Panel on the virtue of Courage!

A crowd of young adults in the workforce came together over a delicious meal to hear from 4 local professionals on how they practice courage in their daily work lives.

Support Zuppardo’s with your grocery and catering needs!

Our dinner panel on the Virtue of Courage is TOMORROW!

I hope you’re hungry, because it finally time to announce our generous sponsor for this event—Zuppardo’s Family Market! 🥗 🍝 🍷

“Local Since 1929! It all started with a cart…
The Zuppardo family came to America from Camp Reale, Italy in 1920”… “Zuppardo’s Family Supermarket is the oldest self-service supermarket in the New Orleans area. We have been a family tradition for over (5) generations.”

The Zuppardo family is known for their generous support of our Louisiana Catholic community. Their business exemplifies many of the characteristics Young Catholic Professionals strive to emanate—excellence in the workplace, pouring oneself out for others and one’s community through one’s God-ordained work. Consider supporting their business!

See you tomorrow at 7PM! FYI the event is located in the Barrett Center at St. Catherine, which is the building to the LEFT of the church if you’re looking at it from the front of the church on Bonnabel Blvd.
