The Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) connects adults in their “encore years” with meaningful volunteer opportunities serving people in need throughout New Orleans.

Whether you’re recently retired, transitioning careers, or simply looking for a way to make a difference, IVC connects you with local nonprofits where your time and talents can make an impact. Volunteers serve just 1–2 days a week while becoming part of a supportive community rooted in service, reflection, purpose, and faith.

From helping at food distribution centers to offering a welcoming smile at community centers, IVC volunteers are making a difference right here in Southeast Louisiana.

🎶A Voice with New Orleans Roots ⚜️

🎤 We are thrilled to welcome back Chase Kamata to Harmony & Hope!

Chase is an accomplished vocalist, theater performer, and granddaughter of legendary New Orleans chef Leah Chase, she has performed around the world and recently served as musical director for Norwegian Cruise Line's Prince tribute production.

Her voice and artistry embody the creative spirit of New Orleans.
