It is hard to fully understand that Jesus was tortured and nailed to a cross to die in our place. That act of kindness is unmeasurable! Our task is now to shower kindness on others so they can see Jesus thru our acts. “Just be Kind” is a motto that I have told every student who passed thru my care. It is a great gift to share. May we all purposefully do acts of kindness today - we may never understand how much it matters!

I’m sure all of us have moments or days where we feel inadequate and struggle to know what to do next. Today we are reminded that as children of God we are blessed to have His Holy Spirit living in us and thru the Spirit we are capable of the impossible! Our job is to stay focused on Jesus and that happens thru reading His Word and prayer. Have a day filled with the hope that comes from the Holy Spirit!

I know how much I love my children. God’s love for us is often compared to His love for His children, us. If His love is far greater than ours then I can’t imagine how great that love must be!!! We often fall short of deserving of His love but He loves a repentant heart and when He forgives a sin, He forgets it. We are washed clean thru the blood of Jesus over and over and wrapped in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father day after day. Rejoice in His great love!

My Granda Wilda would write me letters while I was in college. Her love filled my heart from the first words. Jesus’s love poured from her thru those letters. Do you write letters? It is a returning trend and a wonderful way to connect! It is also a great way to shine for Jesus especially if our health has us confined more at home. We are a love letter waiting to spill out to the world so others will know that they are valued and loved!

God makes all things right in His timing. We know this but we are often impatient. The blessing of age is to look back on many years of life. I am a witness to the promises of God. He has ALWAYS raised me up from hardship, loss, poor health and much more. Be encouraged! God is working in our life and He know best! Wait upon the Lord! Trust with all your heart!

Do we really seek God? Really look for His guidance in ALL of our decisions! It is easy to say we believe in God but it is another thing to say we truly seek to follow Him in our daily lives. Our lives should look difference. Our attitude should be different. If God isn’t impacting our daily routine then we might need to reexamine our relationship with Him. Seek God above all else!
