In a moment of reflection of over 30 years of preaching the gospel, I’m trying to provide “tips” of a sort, as to what I have discovered about the mystery of “kerusso” (Gk for preaching) over those many years.
The first is this:
When standing behind the “sacred desk”, or pulpit, it is important that you have heeded the Holy Spirit in preparation of God’s message, from God’s Word,
to ensure that you are giving the people what they NEED to hear, not what they WANT to hear.
