The Greater New Haven Clergy Association extends its deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to our esteemed President, Rev. Dr. Lonnell L. Lawson, and the entire Lawson family upon the passing of his beloved brother.

During this tender time of bereavement, we join together in prayer, asking God to grant Dr. Lawson and his family comfort, strength, and peace as they navigate this profound loss. We pray that the cherished memories of his brother, the love of family and friends, and the support of the faith community will provide encouragement and consolation in the days ahead.

Dr. Lawson has demonstrated remarkable leadership, faithful service, and genuine compassion throughout our clergy community. He has consistently demonstrated benevolence and has stood with so many of us through both moments of celebration and seasons of difficulty. It is now our privilege to stand beside him and surround him with the same care and support he has so graciously extended to others.

May the God of all comfort sustain the Lawson family, strengthen them during the difficult moments, and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding.

“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.” — Psalm 34:18

On behalf of the officers and members of the Greater New Haven Clergy Association, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Rev. Dr. Lonnell L. Lawson and the entire Lawson family and continue to hold them in our thoughts and prayers during this time of bereavement.
