Below is the Interim Mass Schedule, which will be in effect from July 15, 2026, through January 15, 2027.

This temporary schedule provides an opportunity to thoughtfully evaluate the needs of our pastorate and discern whether any further adjustments may be needed. We encourage everyone to approach these coming months with openness, prayer, and a willingness to allow the schedule time to work before drawing conclusions.

We are deeply grateful for the patience, flexibility, and prayerful support of our parish communities during this transition. Together, let us continue to move forward in faith as we seek to best serve the needs of all our parishioners.

St. Philip Neri once shaved off half his beard before going out to meet an important visitor, just to mortify his vanity. He danced through the streets of Rome to make people laugh. When a young man came to him obsessed with becoming a doctor and then a famous lawyer and then rich and then powerful - Philip kept asking, "And then?" until the young man finally answered, "And then I will die." Philip smiled and said, "And then?"
The young man entered the priesthood.
St. Philip Neri, patron of laughter, joy, and Rome itself - pray for those of us who take ourselves far too seriously.

These were among the last words Jesus spoke from the Cross - given not just to the beloved disciple, but to every disciple of every age.
Pope Francis added today's memorial to the universal Roman Calendar in 2018, fixing it always to the Monday after Pentecost to remind the Church that she has a mother, and to give that mother her place beside the Spirit in the Church's birth.

On Pentecost morning, the Holy Spirit descended on Mary and the apostles like a roaring wind and tongues of fire. They walked out of the Upper Room and preached and three thousand were baptized that day. The Church was born.

Tonight, before the great Solemnity, light a candle. Open the Scriptures. Pray the ancient invocation:
"Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth."

Eighteen years of an abusive marriage. The murder of her husband. The death of both her sons. Three rejections from the convent she had longed to enter since childhood.

St. Rita of Cascia is called the "Saint of the Impossible" because her life looked impossible and she met it with prayer instead of bitterness.

When she finally became an Augustinian nun, she lived another forty years in quiet contemplation. Near the end, a thorn from a crucifix she was venerating wounded her forehead. The wound never healed.
St. Rita, pray for us.

From 1915 to 1929, the Mexican government waged a violent persecution against the Catholic Church. Churches were closed. Priests were forbidden to wear cassocks in public, hold public processions, or even to gather the faithful. Many were hunted down and killed.

Today the Church remembers twenty-five of those martyrs led by Fr. Cristóbal (Christopher) Magallanes, the parish priest of Totatiche. He had founded a clandestine seminary to keep training new priests when all the official ones had been shut down. He was arrested on his way to celebrate Mass at a ranch.

His final words, spoken to his executioners: "I am innocent, and I die innocent. I forgive with all my heart those responsible for my death, and I ask God that the shedding of my blood serve the peace of our divided Mexico."
He was canonized in 2000. The faithful in Mexico still cry: ¡Viva Cristo Rey! ...Long live Christ the King.
