We are so very proud to announce the newest member to the Börn Odinns tribe central Texas charter, Dansandi Fótur Stansson. It has been nothing but an honor for us to have you go through all your trials and earn your place within our family. This is only just the beginning though. We have so many more memories to make.

To become part of a tribe, you must be willing to let go of one version of yourself, one self-schema, and find another version of yourself within the context of the group.

You must be willing to " lose yourself to find yourself. "

You must be willing to go to sleep in a world of rules determined by the Empire and wake up in a world of rules determined by the tribe.

You must be willing to give up the inconsequential individualism of the citizen of the world and become an individual member of a tribe in which all of your assets, actions and ideas have an exponentially greater chance of being influential.

To leave the Empire behind and take on a tribal mind, you must choose to perceive that transformation not as an act of self-negation, but as a process of becoming and personal evolution.

What an amazing weekend to have been had. Visiting the mother charter in Colorado for Helgis Blót. Helgi is our hero patron, the name of the skull on our backs. And for the tribes 13th birthday we honored him and his beautiful yet intense song.

This family is not to be trifled with. We give gift for gift, laughter with laughter, but betrayal with treachery. 13 years of playing these chords. It’s not stopping any time soon!

We have made our journey to the mother chapter in Colorado! This month is the tribes 13th birthday. We have brothers everywhere, even with many miles separating us physically, we are all one of the closest families you will ever meet. 13 years of doing what we do the best.
