We appreciate Abundant Life Assembly of God for sharing their beautiful sanctuary with us all week long. They were gracious and generous hosts for the 2025 Laymen’s League services.

We’ll be doing it all again next year, this time at Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho.

Jake Holt closed us out this morning with a message on the spiritual impact of Christmas, including a reading from John 1:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

We appreciate all who came together this week to make these mornings so meaningful. Laymen’s League 2026 will be hosted by Calvary Baptist in Neosho.

Abundant Life Assembly of God is our host church for this year, and we have appreciated every minute there. You have one more chance to join us for Laymen’s League 2025. Come gather together at 6:30am on Friday (coffee and donuts available at 6am) as we once more remember the true reason for the season of Christmas.

Jason Cramer of Neosho Nazarene Church spoke Thursday morning for Youth Day. He spoke about the history behind Christmas and the nativity, but also looked ahead to Christ’s return. “Christmas is not just nostalgia. It’s not a myth. It’s not just the greatest story ever told. In fact, it’s a historical account of the captivity that has been broken.”

We’ve had a great turnout this week- and tomorrow is youth day! Come hear a message from Jason Cramer tomorrow morning at Abundant Life Assembly of God, 700 Spencer Drive. We have coffee and donuts at 6, with the service beginning at 6:30. Don’t miss it- we only have two days left of Laymen’s League 2025.

Neosho’s Parks and Recreation Director, Kenny Balls, shared a touching message this morning about his memories of Christmas, his mother’s influence on his family, and the true meaning of the season. “Let it be Christmas everywhere.”
