Mormonism and historic Christianity often use the same words (God, Jesus, salvation, grace, revelation) but those words do not always mean the same thing. When shared vocabulary is assumed to carry shared meaning, confusion is guaranteed.
This night is about learning to slow down and define terms.
We will walk through key elements of Mormon theology in order to understand what Mormons actually mean when they use familiar Christian language, and to clearly distinguish those meanings from historic Christian usage. The goal is not to argue, persuade, or debate, but to separate ideas that sound similar while functioning very differently.
Understanding what is being said, and what is not, helps Christians listen carefully, speak accurately, and avoid unintentionally blending two distinct theological systems that use the same words.
Fellowship Night brings Christians together for open discussion, thoughtful conversation, and community centered on faith and truth.
