Per the host's request, we are moving our outdoors BBQ from Sept 13, to Sept 6 (Labor Day Weekend). This will also be fitting as we will also be having the McClures as guests with us, who are missionaries to the Northern Mariana Islands! (See their info in the first comment)

Now that summer is nearly over, our discipleship program is resuming September 10! If you've already began the disciple program in the spring, contact your mentor and get your appointments scheduled for the fall.

If you haven't started yet and you'd like to get signed up for the discipleship, do so at the link below. Married couple's can request to have another couple guide them through the discipleship program, men could have another man guide them through it, ladies can have another lady mentor them through it, or you can choose to go through the discipleship materials in a self-study fashion with periodic check-ins with a mentor.

If anyone is wanting to join us on our East Side Field Adventure of Mount St. Helens, and hearing about the scientific case that’s in harmony with God’s Word by geologist Bill Hoesch of the Mount St. Helens Creation Science Center, let us know ASAP. It's this upcoming Saturday (August 29). Here is the likely schedule (it may change a little on that day to best serve the needs of the group):

- Meet at the Cougar, WA Rest Stop at 9:00am.
- Cedar Flat Research Natural Area to explore an old growth forest.
- A quick stop at the Pine Creek Boulder to witness the power of lahars (mud-flows).
- Clearwater Overlook to view the effects of phenomenal 50-60 mile long glacier and learn about a Biblical Ice Age caused by the Flood.
- Bear Meadow for a picnic and hear the amazing story of the eruption.
- Harmony Trail for a 2.5 hour hike down to Spirit Lake.
- Windy Ridge for a great view into the crater. The tour will end approximately at around 4PM.

For this guided tour the cost is $35 per individual or $95 per family.
