One of the items New Life Prayer Shawl Ministry of Grand Strand Community Church makes are twiddle cuffs. These are used by dementia and Alzheimer’s patients. This is a simple small project and perfect for beginners. Not to worry about sewing the trinkets on as ministry members Patti Russell and Amy White are more than happy to do that for us. I cannot keep up with the requests for them so if you’d like to offer your help in this way we’d love ❤️ to give instructions. Many hands make light work

Busy days this week for New Life! Prayer Shawl Ministry...Delivering 9 crocheted pocketbooks made by Barbi to NHC...20 Pink & White shawls to the Breast Care Center in time for Breast Care Awareness Month. 46 more of our Thanksgiving Lap Robes to Meals on Wheels... all beautifully decorated by Peggy Davis of my church Grand Strand Community Church (brings the total to 67 so far and the wardrobe has another 80 left to pack & decorate toward our 200 goal) Going today to pick up more Military Honor Robes made by Mary & her daughter Diane ..... We will have no problem meeting the goal of 100 by Veterans Day. The ladies of the New Life Prayer Shawl Ministry are all such a Blessing to so many in the Myrtle Beach area. It is such an honor to be your Servant Leader. God bless you all for your giving hearts. So awesome ladies....We have made & delivered over 1000 items already this year

Today the New Life! Prayer Shawl Ministry was honored to present Linda Boone, Director of Volunteers at McLeod Medical in Florence, with 40 Baby Blanket & Hats Sets, 15 Teddy Bear Security Blankie's and 100 Butterflies for their Hospice House.

Today we of the New Life! Prayer Shawl Ministry got together to package the 50 Shawls and 50 Lap Robes that will be donated to NHC on Garden City Connector. There will be a "Blessing of the Gifts" this Sunday at Grand Strand Community Church during its 10am Service. As the congregation lays their hands on them... over them, and for the recipients who will be bestowed them, A blessing will be made by Pastor Roger Hamilton. All are welcome to attend and see the beautiful works created by our Ministry of wonderfully talented and spiritual ladies.
