Rec City is a Christ-centered community committed to empowering a reconciled
people to impact the world for Christ. Our Why
Founded in prayer and guided by Scripture, Rec City exists to fulfill the Great
Commission found in Matthew 28:19–20. Jesus calls His followers to go, make
disciples, baptize, and teach—and this command shapes our purpose and our
practice. In a city with many chur
ches, we recognize that many people have grown
disconnected from church and the things of God. Rec City was established to be a
place where individuals can grow spiritually and naturally through authentic praise
and worship, sound biblical teaching, and genuine community. WE ARE A CHURCH OF IMPERFECT PEOPLE SERVING A PERFECT CHRIST. We are committed to honoring God in all we do, keeping worship and the Word at the
center of our gatherings. We believe the Word of God has the power to transform
lives, restore hope, and bring lasting change. COMMUNITY AND OUTREACH ARE ESSENTIAL TO WHO WE ARE. Our faith extends beyond the walls of the church as we actively serve our community,
share the love of Jesus, and meet real needs. We believe changed lives change
