It's confirmed! Our Baptism Sunday is on November 1st. We rejoice with these who've accepted the Lord as their Savior and now want to follow Him in baptism.

Baptism doesn't save anyone but it is a picture of the redeeming work of Christ, the Gospel, as it represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

Celebrate God's saving grace with us this Sunday at Jibson Immanuel Baptist Church. Let us know if you're interested in being baptized or have any Bible questions.

You can make it through the week.

You may just need a little boost.

A Bible study can provide that for you.

We hope to see you tomorrow at JIBC!

An excerpt from last Sunday's sermon. The message of the pastor shouldn't be his own; it should be Christ's. The success of the sermon isn't based on church growth, crowd participation, or the compliments at the door. Its success is based on the lives that become more like Christ.

It takes time, consistency, persistency, and most importantly, the power of God.

Listen to the whole sermon here, and please don't forget to subscribe and share.

“And and listen, false teachers today are saying, hey, listen. It's okay. You can continue in your sin. It's okay. You can live in that. It's okay. You don't have to worry about getting things right. It's okay. You don't have to repent. Listen to me. Repentance is necessary for salvation. Repentance is a change of mind. It's a change of direction. You could be living all your life and you think to yourself, I'm good, but without Jesus, you are not good.”
