Our Middle School & High School Ministries are officially moving into their newly remodeled rooms! 🙌🔥 We can’t wait to see how God uses these spaces to reach, disciple, encourage, and equip the next generation. As well as the new Young Adults room!

🙏 So we’re asking YOU to stick around after each service and join us in praying over these rooms and the ministries that will take place there.

Give yourself a little extra time this Sunday. Come worship. Come hear God’s Word. Come take Communion. Come fellowship. And come pray over what God is going to do in the next generation. ❤️

What if speaking up for justice could help change someone’s story?

At Calvary Murrieta, we believe we are called to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves” and to seek justice for those who are being crushed. That means not only caring for those who have been impacted by injustice, but also learning how we can help prevent others from becoming victims.

💙 One way you can get involved is through our At Risk meetings.

Join us for our next At Risk meeting on Sunday, September 20 at 3:00 PM in the Agape Room, where Rebirth Homes will be with us to share about their ministry serving adult survivors of human trafficking.

Come:
✨ Learn about the realities of human trafficking
✨ Hear how Rebirth Homes is helping survivors rebuild their lives
✨ Discover practical ways we can partner with their ministry
✨ Find out how you can be part of pursuing justice and bringing hope

You don’t have to have all the answers to make a difference. Sometimes, the first step is simply showing up, learning, and being willing to speak up.

WHO GETS TO TELL YOU WHO YOU ARE?

The world may have opinions. Your past may have a story. Even your own heart may tell you things that aren’t true.

But David points us to the One who knows the whole story:

“You have searched me, LORD, and you know me.” — Psalm 139:1

Before David tells us who he is, he establishes who knows him completely and who has the authority to speak about him.

And when God speaks, the story changes:
I am not an accident.
I am intentionally formed.
I am completely known.
I am never outside God’s presence.
I am worthy of God’s close attention.

Your past doesn’t get the final word about you. God does.

STOP LETTING YOUR PAST HAVE THE FINAL WORD.

Your past is part of your story—but it doesn’t get to name you.

Jesus knows every chapter: the rejection, the failure, the shame, the loss, the mistakes, and the pain. And He isn’t afraid of any of it.

He doesn’t erase your story. He enters it.

Bring your story to the One who knows how it ends. What happened to you—and even what you’ve done—doesn’t have the final authority over who you are.

Your past may be part of your story. But Jesus gets to write the ending. ❤️
