Level 2 EV charger installation completed in Southport, NC.

We installed a 48-amp Level 2 EV charger for this homeowner’s Tesla, giving them a much faster and more convenient way to charge at home.

A properly installed Level 2 charger offers several major benefits:

A 48-amp Level 2 charger can provide significantly faster charging than a standard wall outlet, making it much easier to recharge overnight and start the day with the range you need.

Another recent panel refresh completed.
This homeowner was experiencing nuisance tripping on the HVAC, water pump, and several other circuits. After evaluating the system, it was clear the older breakers were a major part of the issue.

As breakers age, they can become less dependable and start tripping more easily, especially during periods of higher electrical demand. Heading into summer, that can show up quickly with HVAC systems, pumps, and other essential loads.

Refreshing the panel with new breakers can make a big difference in reliability and day-to-day performance, while also helping homeowners address electrical issues before they become bigger problems.

This one is now in much better shape for the summer season.

This panel was still working, but it wasn’t safe.

During a Coastal Protection Plan inspection, we found multiple hidden issues that most homeowners would never see:

A mismatched breaker barely connected to the bus bar
→ Loose connection = arcing and fire risk
Heat buildup inside the panel (confirmed with thermal imaging)
→ Early sign of failing connections
Multiple loose terminations throughout the panel
No antioxidant on aluminum conductors
Sub-panel not properly separated (ground/neutral issue)
No surge protection installed

What we corrected:

- Replaced and properly seated the breaker
- Re-torqued all panel connections
- Applied antioxidant to aluminum conductors
- Installed dedicated ground bar (correct separation)
- Installed whole-home surge protection

Using Thermal Imaging we found:

Overheating on one of the 120v Main Legs and Lug due to a loose connection. Left untouched it would reduce the lifespan of the system and could even cause arcing and fires.

Electrical problems don’t usually fail all at once, they build up like this over time.

New electrical service installed for a detached building being used for a microgreens business

This project involved more than just the install. From Coordinating with the power company for underground service, to handling permitting, and making sure everything was set up properly from start to finish.
