1 Timothy 3:1 (KJV) This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

• There is nothing wrong with desiring a position as long as your desire doesn’t hinder your walk with God, work for God, and worship of God while you wait on God to give it to you.

2 Timothy 4:5 (KJV) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

• While you wait on God’s timing, make sure you’re proving yourself to be worthy of the position you desire to have.

Ephesians 4:11 (KJV) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

• Take this time to ensure what you’re desiring is God’s perfect will!

1 Corinthians 1:26 (KJV) For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

• Remember that God has to Prepare you before He will “Promote” you.
