Wellspring had the opportunity to be part of a love chain of totes going all the way from South Dakota to Haiti!
Pastor Dean received the totes on Saturday and today Brent and Jessi delivered them to Hannibal, Mo. where a nice bunch of teens unloaded them! Tomorrow they will continue on the journey south.

Hey Wellspring Family!
Some of you may know me from the Mexico mission trip I went on in 2023 with Wellspring. It was during that trip that my interest in international missions was sparked! I wanted to share a little about what God has been doing in my life and invite you into what He’s calling me to be a part of.
This past August, I began a residency position at my church, New City, in Austin, Texas. Residency is a two-year intensive discipleship program designed to equip the next generation of ministry leaders through hands-on ministry experience, biblical and theological education, and spiritual formation. My residency is specifically focused on New City College and Young Adult Ministry.
In this role, I get to walk alongside college students and young adults by leading, discipling, and helping plan our College and Young Adult Ministry. I am deeply passionate about seeing the Gospel advanced and Jesus made known, which has led me to start Send Saturday, a time where we learn how to share the Gospel and then go out into our neighborhood to put what we’ve learned into practice.
I also have a strong heart for missions. Since New City is a one-year-old church, I’ve been allowed to help build out our missions program. This year, I’m leading our very first mission trip to South Padre Island, and I would love your prayers as we prepare for that.
This residency position is completely support-based, meaning I raise support for my salary. I’m currently on a deadline to be fully funded by the end of the year, and I truly can’t do this alone. To reach my goal, I need 13 more people to partner with me at $100 a month. I also have partners giving at various levels, so if God leads you to give a different amount, anything truly helps. One-time gifts are amazing as well!
