Prayer for Revival and Refreshing
Heavenly Father,
We come before You thirsty for more of You, knowing that You are the source of life. Your Word declares, “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?” (Psalm 85:6). Lord, we ask—revive us again.
Breathe on us, O God. As You spoke to the dry bones and said, “I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live” (Ezekiel 37:14), we ask You to breathe fresh life into our hearts, our homes, our churches, and our land. Where there has been weariness, restore strength. Where there has been complacency, awaken holy hunger.
Father, Your Word promises, “Repent therefore and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19). We turn back to You now. Cleanse us. Renew our minds. Purify our hearts. Let refreshing flow from Your presence like living water.
Lord, You said, “If My people who are called by My name humble themselves, pray, seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). We humble ourselves before You today. Heal what is broken. Restore what has been lost. Revive what seems dead.
Pour out Your Spirit as You promised: “I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground” (Isaiah 44:3). Let the fire of revival burn again in us—not a fleeting flame, but a steady fire that transforms lives and draws many to You.
Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10). Restore the joy of our salvation and uphold us by Your Spirit. Let revival begin in us so it may flow through us.
We declare that You are doing a new thing, even now (Isaiah 43:19). Open our eyes to see it, our ears to hear it, and our hearts to receive it.
We give You all the glory, honor, and praise,
In the mighty name of Jesus,
Amen.
