Hi Folks! I was just looking over our upcoming schedule and it hit me hard....
Despite all the issues, problems and challenges Sheli and I have gone thru lately, (or maybe because of them), God still works in us and blesses us.
In the next 60 days ( 9 weeks ) We have 9 different events to attend. Some are just setting up a booth and giving out Bibles, talking to and praying with people, others include holding Cowboy Church at multi day events and also 4 Equestrian Gospel Presentations using live horses!
As I thought about this, this passage, written by Paul came to mind...
Romans 10:13-15
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Now, my feet are far from beautiful to the human eye. But they anxiously and willingly carry me, to tell others about the love Christ has for us, and of how he was willing to sacrifice himself, taking on the sin of the world so we could spend eternity with him. If we only put our faith in his work on the cross.
What hit me hard was that faith has carried me so far, given me so much peace and continues to grow in me. And God just continues to show me blessings after blessings in my life.
