Renew Ministries Come As You Are Ministry

12/19/2023

As much as it pains me to do so we are going to HAVE to unlink the Renew Miniseries fb page from the new ReNewed Hope page. The reason is because FB has been going through the old posts and anything that has used pre recorded (such as but not limited to UTube) clips are being ‘claimed’ by different music video companies for possible copyright infringement. These issues have been only on the videos from 2022 and earlier, which was before the merger.
So effective Jan 15, 2024 Renew Ministries page will no longer be connected (linked) to ReNewed Hope. So unfortunately it not be available. This gives you as followers time to glean any info and pictures you may want, please do so as soon as possible.

Sorry for any inconveniences this may pose, truly I am disappointed with social media providers for this development.

Passion can make the difference between life or death, progression or digression, miracle or mediocrity. Passive people accept things the way they are. Passionate people are willing to risk comfort to experience change. Passive people give up - passionate people press on.
In our world today the Church is being silenced without so much of a ripple of resistance. Jesus called and mentored a band of men although few In number, they were passionate not only in living but in death as well. Willing to give all for the Gospel of Jesus.

No Greater Love Hath Any Man - Than HE Lay Down HIS Life for a friend.
But while I was still at enmity with HIM, HE Still Loved.
My salvation was made complete in that moment that HE cried IT IS FINISHED. Even though I could not save myself, I could buy it or steal it - HE GAVE IT!

When He Was ON The Cross (I Was On HisMind)

I'm not on an ego trip
I'm nothing on my own
I've made mistakes and often slip
I'm just common flesh and bones
But I'll prove someday just what I say
I'm of a special kind
For while He was on the cross
I was on His mind
The look of love was on His face
The thorns on His head
The blood was on that scarlet robe
And it was stained in crimson red
Though His eyes were on the crowd that day
He looked ahead in time
For while He was on the cross, listen
You were on His mind
He knew me, yet He loved me
He whose glory makes the Heaven shine
I'm so unworthy of such mercy
For while He was on the cross
I was on His mind
Yes, while He was on the cross
You were on His mind
He knew me, yet He loved me
He whose glory makes the Heaven shine
I'm so unworthy of such mercy
For while He was on the cross
I was on His mind
Yes, while He was on the cross
I was on His mind

Day 5: Passover and Last Supper on
Holy Week takes a somber turn on Thursday.

From Bethany, Jesus sent Peter and John ahead to the Upper Room in Jerusalem to make the preparations for the Passover Feast. That evening after sunset, Jesus washed the feet of his disciples as they prepared to share in the Passover. By performing this humble act of service, Jesus demonstrated by example how believers should love one another. Today, many churches practice foot-washing ceremonies as a part of their Maundy Thursday services.

Then, Jesus shared the feast of Passover with his disciples, saying:

"I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins. For I tell you now that I won't eat this meal again until its meaning is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God." (Luke 22:15-16, NLT)
As the Lamb of God, Jesus was about to fulfill the meaning of Passover by giving his body to be broken and his blood to be shed in sacrifice, freeing us from sin and death. During this Last Supper, Jesus established the Lord's Supper, or Communion, instructing his followers to continually remember his sacrifice by sharing in the elements of bread and wine (Luke 22:19-20).

Later, Jesus and the disciples left the Upper Room and went to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed in agony to God the Father. Luke's Gospel says that "his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground" (Luke 22:44, ESV).

Late that evening in Gethsemane, Jesus was betrayed with a kiss by Judas Iscariot and arrested by the Sanhedrin. He was taken to the home of Caiaphas, the High Priest, where the whole council had gathered to begin making their case against Jesus.

Meanwhile, in the early morning hours, as Jesus' trial was getting underway, Peter denied knowing his Master three times before the rooster crowed.

Thursday's events are recorded in Matthew 26:17–75, Mark 14:12-72, Luke 22:7-62, and John 13:1-38.

We are sometimes quick to fault anyone, that crosses us. It is human nature yet Jesus kept His eyes on the end result of the cross - the Redemption of you and me. What an awful horrible thing when a friend’ double downs on us and it has happened to each of us.
Thank you Lord for Your love no matter what! Salvation bstill bears a heavy cost and we all owe a debt of gratitude!

This week as we follow more closely to Jesus and the events of Passion Week ( Holy Week) we lined the roadway on Palm Sunday waving branches and tossing branches and cloaks into the street for the Humble King of Kings.
On Holy Monday He cursed a fruitless fig tree (and we prayed that we might be fruit bearing) on His way to cleanse the Temple. He chased out the money changers and overturned their tables.
So Today on Tuesday of Passion Week Jesus returns to the Temple to ‘possess’ it, to pronounce word upon those that bargained with/for God’s sacrifices, those that played church for gain so to speak. We can liken them to the hirelings we have among us today.
He passed the fig tree that had withered at His command the day before and used it as an illustration on faith.
At day’s end He gave the Oliver Discourse, foretelling the destruction of the Temple (fulfilled in 70AD) and then followed by the completion of the message of warning and of hope. So as we read today Matthew chapter 24 let’s put it’s significance and importance into perspective. Our Lord was giving us things to look for, things to think on.
