PBJC partnered with Jewish Federation of Metrowest Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ for a Community Wide Mitzvah Day! We partnered with Nourish NJ to make 300 Breakfast Bags, 20 large bags of clothes were donated and sorted for Howard’s Mission, platters of cookies were decorated and donated to the Montville Township Police, letters were written to Zaka (Israel’s first responders), dog toys and blankets were made and donated to the Montville Animal Shelter, inspiring messages were written on Sam Stones that can be placed throughout the community, BBYO read PJ Library books to preschool children and videos were taken to celebrate Israel’s 78th birthday which will be part of a montage. PBJC is so proud of all the people who performed mitzvot and came together to show the strength and dedication to tikkun olam!

Join us. Serve together. Make a difference.

We are thrilled to invite the entire community to Community Mitzvah Day at Pine Brook Jewish Center! This is a special day dedicated to kindness, service, and giving back through hands-on projects that support our neighbors both locally and globally.

Whether you are decorating cookies to thank our local first responders, creating dog toys for the Montville Animal Shelter, or packing breakfast bags for families in need through nourish.NJ, there is a meaningful project for everyone. We will also be designing kindness stones, making thank-you cards for Israel’s ZAKA disaster response volunteers, and supporting several other wonderful causes.
