TURN YOUR LIFE AROUND....by submitting your life to Jesus Christ.

If you do not recall making a confession of Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to say the following prayer. Confessing the prayer marks the beginning of a new life or being "born again" as Jesus explains in John 3:3-6.

Say this confession:

Father in Heaven, I believe that You are God and that Jesus is Your Son. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and that after three days, He arose from the dead. Today, I make the quality decision to turn from my past ways. Jesus, I ask You to come into my heart to be Lord and Savior of my life. Make something new of me. Create in me a hunger for Your Word to know you better. Lead me to a church where I may be taught Your promises and principles accurately and uncompromisingly. I want to fully understand my responsibility and authority as Your child. Thank you for salvation and for your promise of abundant life......spiritually, physically, economically and socially. Father I give Your name the praise, honor, and glory with my words and with my life.....in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.

If you said this confession with your mouth and believe in your heart, you're saved.

Be careful with the phrase, "God loves you" or "God loves everyone."

In today's world, that sounds as though God feels warm and affectionate towards us all.

(The truth is that He so loved the world that He sent His only Son to die so that all mankind has a choice of choosing Him, but everyone certainly doesn't choose Him!) See John 3:16

One has to grapple with scriptures like Psalm 5:5 - "The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers."

So... God hates (evildoers)? What?!

Or, the fact that God will condemn people to hell. What kind of love is that?!

We need to be clearer about what it actually means that God loves a world of sinful people.

Principally, it means that He has made a way of salvation for all.

Making that way of salvation was the greatest act of love the world has ever known, and will ever know.

It was infinitely costly. Infinitely selfless. Totally unreciprocated.

Notice how precise scripture is - "God shows his love for us IN THAT while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Rom 5:8)

Or, the famous verse, "For God so loved the world THAT He gave His only begotton Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16)

Or, "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (1 John 4:10)

See how it's qualified? See how specific it is? God's love to us is principally God's work of salvation for us.

Don't let people think that God is all sunshine, rainbows and warm fuzzies about them. He may be opposed to them this very moment. He will surely judge them in the future. He may even send them to hell!

Let them know that His love is found more specifically in this great fact: they can be saved.

According to Ezekiel 18:25-30 Sometimes we might find ourselves blaming God for being unfair in His judgments, but God lets us know that it is our ways that is unfair (according to Ezekiel 18:25).

We often have the view that God weighs our actions and if the good outweighs the bad, a person is okay in His sight. But God proved that salvation Is a matter of where you end up, not where you start.

That’s why he said in essence, “If you repent, I will judge you based on your repentance, not your wickedness.” That’s good news.
But he also reversed it and said, “If you don’t repent, I will judge you on your wickedness, not how good you were before you turned to wickedness.” (Ezekiel 18:31-32) God was talking about the condition of a person’s heart and not salvation based on our works.

This we see because of His second call to repentance in which He says according to Ezekiel 18:31-32: “Throw off all the transgressions you have committed and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. . . . For I take no pleasure in anyone’s death”

. . . . Bottom line is that God loves us so much He desires we spend eternity with Him. . . . . . . So repent and live! Ultimately, the only way to be saved is by getting a new heart. And the only way to get a new heart is to repent, trust Jesus Christ, and receive a transformed heart through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Romans Chapter 10: 9-10 says:
That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.
For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.

The thing is, with all the chaos in the world, nothing can bring us true peace, nothing can save us eternally, no political figure or political figure can save us. Only Jesus who gives true salvation.

By His grace, God has already done everything to provide salvation. Your part is simply to believe and receive.

Pray out loud, Jesus, I confess that You are my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me!

The very moment you commit your life to Jesus Christ, the truth of His Word instantly comes to pass in your spirit. If you prayed that prayer and meant it from your heart, there’s a brand-new you!
