One year ago today, this ministry officially launched.

🤩 I’m still kind of in awe.

This past year has been filled with Bible studies, podcast episodes, writing, speaking, coffee shop meetings, prayer requests, and so many opportunities to watch God work.

I don’t take a second of it for granted.

The fact that I get to spend my days talking about Jesus, studying God’s Word, encouraging people, and creating resources that help others grow in their faith is something I never want to stop being amazed by.

Thank you to every person who has supported, encouraged, prayed, shared, listened, attended, took part in studies, and cheered me on this year. You have no idea how much it means.

What a privilege. What an honor. 🙌

I’m pretty stoked to see what God has in store for Year TWO!!

What will be at risk if you are not fully awake?

In this week's episode of Scripture Adventures, I'm reflecting on a teaching from Lisa Bevere's Lioness Arising study that recently came back to mind and the lessons God has continued to work out in my own life since then.

We'll talk about spiritual awakeness, the Body of Christ, unity, marriage, purpose, and why the enemy loves distraction, exhaustion, and division.

Who becomes vulnerable when we stop paying attention to what God is doing around us?

🎙️ Listen to Dangerously Awake now.

And if this conversation resonates with you, I'll be sharing a new Substack article on Friday about practical principles for living awake every day.

I get asked a lot, “Where should I follow your ministry?” So let me make it simple.

Every platform serves a different purpose, and my hope is that you’ll find the space(s) that encourages you most in your walk with the Lord.

Y'all, I took some time away recently to just be still — to mourn, to reflect, and to breathe. I needed it. But I will be honest, while I was still, God was not. He has been laying so much on my heart and I am happily playing catch up to keep up with all He has put in front of me. So if it feels like I have been showing up a lot the last few days — I have.

And today I am dropping a new episode that feels like it was made for this exact moment — because May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this one is too important to let pass without talking about it.

Friend, how is your outlook — like really? We are digging into what Scripture and brain science agree on about the way we think, why your mental health is not a faith issue but a stewardship issue, and three practical shifts you can start today.

This episode has some of my favorite teachers woven all through it and I think it is going to land right where somebody needs it.

Go give it a listen — and while you're at it, share it with a friend who needs a little lens cleaning. Available on your favorite platform.

What are we actually living for?

Lately, the Lord has been stirring something deep in my heart about legacy, eternity, and the crowns mentioned throughout Scripture. Not earthly recognition… but living a life marked by obedience, faithfulness, surrender, and the glory of God.

This teaching is more of a high-level reflection that accompanies the Substack article I recently shared on eternal legacy and the crowns of Heaven. There is so much depth to this topic, and I may do a full podcast teaching on it down the road.

One thing I know for sure: every crown worth having will one day be laid at the feet of Jesus.

I would love for y’all to be part of something really special and exciting.

This summer, I am launching Discerning the Names of God within the Carbon Women Bible study groups before officially publishing it. That means the women who join us won’t just walk through the study with me week by week—they’ll also help shape the final version through feedback, discussion, and community.

This is more than just a Bible study to me. It’s an invitation to dig deeper into who God is, what His names reveal about His character, and how that transforms the way we live, pray, trust, and worship.

If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something from the ground floor, this is it. I would absolutely love to study alongside you.

Study begins May 31 and we have multiple session options available.

Join us at this June for an enriching Bible study as we explore the Names of God — discovering the depth, character, and faithfulness of the One who calls us by name. Do you actually believe God provides for your every need — or do you still find yourself helping Him along?

Be honest. I had to be.

Watching my grandmother in hospice has reminded me that His ways really are higher than mine, and His thoughts higher than mine. And there is so much rest available when we finally stop being His co-pilot and start being His child.

What does it really mean to exalt the Lord?

Not just with a song… but with the way we live each day.

In this episode of Scripture Adventures, we talk about what it means to live a life fully surrendered to God—where your heart becomes the altar, your life becomes the offering and your worship becomes the sacrifice.

Because if our lives are the incense rising before the Lord… we have to ask ourselves:

What is the aroma of my life?

This episode is especially meaningful to me because I recorded it sitting bedside with my grandmother—a sweet memory I will treasure forever. She and I share a deep love for studying God’s Word together, and I can’t think of a more special person to have beside me for this teaching.
