Deborah Magazine

Deborah Magazine Deborah Magazine was created to inspire and encourage women. Life is hard. But there is hope! Our mission at Deborah Magazine is to be a light in a dark world.

The mission is to be a resource for the lost and hurting, a place where love and hope can be found and where lives can be changed through the leadership and wisdom of women like you and I. We are wives, mothers, businesswomen, warriors, preachers, teachers, and evangelists. DM features women who have stood out and stood up. They have experienced real-life challenges but rose up by the strength and

grace of the All Mighty God. They have paved the way as a wise warrior, wounded but healed, from the pain of the past, and have turned their faces up to the Lord God Almighty, humbled and forgiven. With strength and compassion, we now live each and every day, with love and joy and encourage other women to do the same. Our focus includes articles on health, nutrition, recipes, fashion, family, and relationships. It will include book reviews, devotionals, and interviews with locally and nationally known women in business and in ministry, who have paved the way to demonstrate, work-life balance, and have experienced overcoming addiction, abuse, and real-life challenges. WE BELIEVE...The Scriptures are Inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind. WE BELIEVE...There is One God–revealed in three persons...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity). WE BELIEVE...In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God's son Jesus was both human and divine. WE BELIEVE...Every Person Can Have Restored Fellowship with God Through 'Salvation'(trusting Christ, through faith and repentance, to be our personal Savior). Psalm 139:1-5
You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue
you, LORD, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me. How Amazing Your Thoughts Are Towards Me Psalms 139

You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light becomes night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you. For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.

🌸💕 Worry is not our calling, my dear friends! 💕🌸

As women, it sometimes feels like worry is woven into our very being. Generations of strong women before us have carried the weight of worry, as they navigated the challenges of survival. But let us remember, worry is not from God. He does not desire for us to live in constant anxiety.

When worry starts to creep in, let us take a moment to pause. Imagine that worry in your hands, as if it were a tangible object. And then, my sisters, get on your knees and humbly present it to God. Offer it up with a heart full of trust and faith.

This simple act of surrender becomes an act of worship. It shows our Father in heaven that we trust Him with our deepest concerns. And let me assure you, it pleases Him beyond measure. After all, what loving Father wouldn't want to relieve His children of their worries?

So, my beautiful friends, let's remind ourselves today to release our worries into the hands of our Heavenly Father. Let's entrust Him with our fears, knowing that He is faithful and will carry us through. 🙏❤️

🌸 Happy Mother's Day! 🌸

I remember the first Mother’s Day just a few years ago where I made a conscious choice to be alcohol free. My goal was to be 100% present and in the moment. I was in my first 30 days of taking a break and possibly attempting this as a new lifestyle. I found myself at a beautiful brunch, offered countless mimosas, and handed a bottle of wine as a parting gift… assumptively handed to each mother as we left the event created in our honor.

C’mon doesn’t EVERY Mother need a drink? That was the message.. Alcohol is seen as an entitlement to the ever hard to find "me time" and it is woven in the day just like cards or flowers. 🎯⭐

Our society often associates alcohol with celebrations, but it's time for a shift. Let's celebrate each other's PRESENCE instead of relying on mind-altering substances. 🎉🎁

Being a mother is the toughest yet most rewarding "job" fueled by unconditional love. Our presence is the ultimate gift we can give. 💖🙏

Listen, we may or may not always be honored by others the way we would like on our "big day". In fact, Mother’s Day may remind you of a strained or missed relationship. You may be able to count your mother as a true friend-perhaps your best friend. You may be able to count your mother as a true friend-perhaps your best friend. This may be your first Mother’s Day without your mom. Whatever your circumstances may be, I want you to remember the times that you (or her) were most authentically present. The laughter, the tears ~ whatever was most real. 🌟🌻

I believe the best way we can honor our own mothers and ourselves as mothers is to celebrate our PRESENCE. It is the hardest, most rewarding "job "on the planet because it is driven by a love like no other. 🌺🎈

On this special day, let's cherish the authentic moments, the laughter, the tears, and honor the legacy we're creating. Your best is more than enough. 💗💫

You are enough. 🌹 Showing up and offering your presence IS the greatest gift and celebration of all.
