TEFILLIN ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT: ONE STEP CLOSER TO FULL FREEDOM OF WORSHIP!

One more advance for religious freedom on the Temple Mount! Moshe Fuah donned tefillin on the Temple Mount today. Tefillin are placed on the arm and head by observant Jews every morning for the morning prayer service. Despite being a fundamental practice of Judaism for thousands of years, it has been strictly prohibited, (albeit without legal justification), by the Israeli government ever since 1967 when Israel liberated the Mount from Jordanian occupation.

Jewish freedom of worship has increased dramatically over the past few years. Although still not acknowledged formally by the government, Jewish prayer is allowed on the Mount. However, until now, wearing a tallit (prayer shawl) or tefillin has been forbidden. As more and more Jews ascend the Temple Mount and demand the freedom to worship on Judaism's holiest site on earth, complete freedom of worship for Jews on the Mount is only a matter of time.

SOMALILAND'S NEW AMBASSADOR TO ISRAEL PRAYS ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT!

Yesterday, (May 18), Somaliland Independence Day, Israel welcomed and swore in Somaliland's first ambassador to Israel, Mohamed Hagi. Israel is the first country to recognize Somaliland's independence. The United Arab Emirates are expected to open diplomatic relations with Somaliland in the near future. The United States, likewise, is weighing the recognition of Somaliland. Somaliland is a democratic western leaning country whose location on the western side of the Gulf of Aden, makes it an essential partner in combating Muslim terror and Somalian piracy.
