Riverside Prayer & Prophetic Ministry We sincerely desire to hear from the Lord, to interpret the purposes of God so that all who come may be encouraged and strengthened in their faith.

The Prayer and Prophetic Ministry of Riverside Community Church in Peoria IL was started in January 2014. Prophetic ministry is hearing from the Lord on behalf of someone else. Trained members of Riverside Community Church’s prophecy teams speak words of encouragement, comfort, and strength in the spirit of 1 Corinthians 14:1 and 3: “Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy...Everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort” (NIV).

Elijah didn’t just predict the weather, he called down rain and ended the drought.

Let me be clear, our call isn’t to predict the storm; it’s to summon the rain. Too many believers are echoing the headlines when Heaven is waiting for us to write a new one.

Faith is voice-activated. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. It’s time we stop reporting the climate and start shifting it.

Happy New Year!!

I hope this post finds you all embracing 2021 with a newfound passion and zeal.

While we have traditionally ministered on the second Sunday of the month, this coming Sunday there is a members meeting. WE want everyone to be able to attend so this month we are moving our ministry date to JANUARY 17th.

I also want to say a huge thank YOU to Eric Johnson for organizing and keeping this ministry running while I took a short break last year.

Love
Anita
