Friends of Calvary. July 22, 2023

Dearest friends of Calvary,
As many of you know, many ladies who became friends through our wonderful fellowship at Calvary Baptist Church met last year for a meal and fellowship. The Spirit of the Lord was there! The fellowship was so sweet and the reunion of friends who had not visited in years left us with joyful hearts.

Many who were not able to attend, plus some of the men, expressed an interest of having another one. When both Tammy Turner and Myrtis Miller shared pictures from last year, some of us began talking and praying about how to do it again! In the discussion, one sweet friend made the comment that those sweet moments may not be able to be duplicated. So the challenge! Nothing is too hard for our God! Please pray with us that the sweet fellowship we so cherished from last year be present.

As we visited about ideas, the comment was made that it would be wonderful to have Bro. Benny and Cindy Thompson attend! Wow! That brought much excitement to the discussion! So, I contacted Ron and Pam who were in for the event, and for helping to get Bro.Benny and Cindy here!!

Soooooo…….put it on your calendars!!!!!!!! Saturday, July 22, 2023
CAKE AND COFFEE FELLOWSHIP - LA BAPTIST CHILDRENS’ HOME
RUCKER AUSTIN CENTER (across from office). 2:00PM UNTIL

Please come and be our guests for cake and coffee/tea/water and sweet fellowship! We are so excited! Please let us know by replying to this post. No invitations will be mailed, so we are counting on you to share this or contact those you know who are not on FB. This invitation is open to all, women and men, and the younger generation as well! What a joy it would be to see the teenagers who now have grown children of their own. Bring pictures!

My verse for this day! Thank you, Lord!

“25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. 26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. 27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬‬:‭25‬-‭27‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

Love, Becky and the girls! ( in our minds anyway!😂😘)
