Every Sunday ❤️ I love history—history that tells the truth about our ancestors and bears witness to the struggles they endured under oppression. True history reminds us that equality is rarely granted voluntarily by those who benefit from injustice; it must be courageously demanded and steadfastly pursued.

As Frederick Douglass famously declared:
“Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will.”

His words remain a powerful reminder that freedom, justice, and equality are achieved through persistence, advocacy, and the refusal to accept oppression as the final word. History is not merely about remembering the past; it is about learning from it and continuing the work of building a more just future.
