“Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭58‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Although the weather was beautiful at Tillman's Corner Homeless and Needy Outreach, tonight was a reminder that kindness can conquer adversity. We welcomed several new families for the first time, and though they arrived after we had run out of food, our team's compassion shone through. We were able to provide them with snacks and drinks, and create small to-go bags for their family of six. We were also blessed to serve several families with kids tonight.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, shopped, assembled baskets, or just kept me straight over the last month. I am so in awe of this great work God did through PPM.

What a privilege it is to serve with all of you as we get to bring His Hope to children who have challenging lives and live in hard places. Together, we gave out 860 baskets of hope and joy to vulnerable children through 25 amazing nonprofit organizations from Baldwin County, Mobile, and Mississippi.

I encourage you never to be afraid to accept His challenge. If He asks you to do something that seems huge, say YES, even if you do it afraid and shaking. It is an amazing journey to live this life He has for us. To God be all the glory for this amazing thing He has done!

As you know when you are about to make a post on fb the question, “what is on your mind” comes up. Acts 1:8 is what is on my mind. I have been pondering it all week.
This past week, PPM had the privilege of getting to walk this Scripture out. We were local, and we went east and west.

We delivered 578 baskets of hope in Mobile (our Jersalem), and in Judea (two different places in Baldwin County and three in Mississippi). Then, we rolled in hot on Thursday evening and had the privilege of serving with the Tillman’s Corner Needy and Homeless Outreach team. (Samaria).

I am not bragging on us, I stand in awe and amazement for this great honor of representing HIM to so many. Truthfully, I can hardly believe I am part of this great Kingdom work. And…I get to do it all over again next week.

May souls be drawn to Him as they receive this gift of love and hope from our Lord. All for His glory!

PPM's passion for serving the hurting and vulnerable has led us to take action and bring hope to those in need. Today, we had the privilege of delivering 120 Easter Baskets to two outstanding organizations, Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center, and The Lighthouse. They both provide vital services to this population. We are grateful to these exceptional non-profits for their selfless dedication to caring for those in hard places. Tonight, I had the privilege of sharing the hope and love of Jesus with a sweet young lady whom I have gotten to know over time while serving our unhoused friends.

Consistency matters. I am not the most qualified person on our team. I just show up, prayed up, and ready to serve and love on whoever is before me. I encourage you to join us sometime. It will change your life.❤️

Every Thursday evening I join in with lots of awesom people on the the Homeless and Needy Outreach Team in Tillman’s Corner and feed those who are hungry and come for food.

Sometimes I’m tired and don’t feel like going. Every week I push through and go anyway. I guess it’s my selfishness that keeps me going back. No matter how my day or week has been, I have never left there not feeling more energized and blessed than before I went. Come and join us sometime and you will understand what I mean.

If you are interested in joining us please see Tillman’s Corner Homeless and Needy Outreach. We meet every Thursday at 6:00 at the WalMart in Tillman’s corner parking lot right next to the Garden Center. Come and join us. You will leave with your heart full of love and joy.
