Abba Father,
We fail in our feeble attempts to be intentional Christian grandparents. We give “urgent matters” priority over the important things in life. We fail to pray for our grandchildren’s salvation, forget to share our faith stories when opportunities arise, and stumble in our efforts to model Christ-like behavior. We forget to impress upon our grandchildren the depth of God’s love.

Today, we recommit ourselves as intentional Christian grandparents, reminding ourselves that we “can do all things through Him, who strengthens us” (Philippians 4:13).

In your Son’s Name, we pray,
Amen.
