What does the Bible have to say about us needing to Attend Church in a building dedicated to that purpose?
Because the Bible teaches us to "Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together" Hebrews 10:24-25
Because the Bible teaches us to praise the Lord everywhere and at all times, but especially in His sanctuary, even with instruments of praise (Psalms 150:1-6)
That you might get fed knowledge and understanding
(Jeremiah 3:15)
To Receive the Word that Concerns you ( Luke 24:13-35)
(Ephesians 5:19-24) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
To be equipped for the Work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12)
To commemorate what Jesus has done.
(1 Corinthians 11:24-25)
To fellowship one with another
(Acts 2:46)
So that we may have a place especially dedicated to teaching and admonishing one another in wisdom (Colossians 3:16)
A place to gather in His Name (Matthew 18:20)
To have a house dedicated to prayer (Isaiah 56:7)
So that the various members of the body of Christ can gather together that each one may supply the need for the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 12:22)
To be trained in doctrine and to the fellowship (Acts 2:42)
For reproof, correction, and training in Righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16)
To increase your faith as you hear His Word (Romans 10:17)
Because God has assigned church leaders as watchman over your souls ( Hebrews 13:17)
To come together and fund the work of the ministry (2 Corinthians 8:1-10)
To be examples or to find examples to follow in the body of Christ (1 Peter 5:1-4)
To be built up in the Lord ( 1 Corinthians 14:1-40)
