So grateful to have spent another year with my beautiful wife & best friend What better way to celebrate a new year than with you at our favorite hotel? ( )

This past year was a year of growth as you have grown in your personal & spiritual life & I am beyond proud of you!!!

My prayer is that one day, our boys will marry a mighty woman of God, who hears from the Lord, leads well, & is humble, just like their mom.

I love you & I am so honored to be your husband, I have told you from the start, you are my blessing from God.

With a heavy heart, our family shares with you that on Sunday, September 19th, my Dad, John Velsor, passed from this life and into eternity with Jesus. My Dad was a great example of what it means to be transformed by God.

I'm so thankful for the time we recently spent together with him & my mom here in MN. He told me there were two things he wanted to do while here in MN...
1) See the church Shannon Velsor & I started.
2) Watch the boys play baseball.
As we walked through the church, he would say to me, "I'm so proud of you's." (in his New York accent) & when the boys got a hit, he would yell out, "That's my grandson!"

I know my Dad was proud of all of us, but I'm so proud of him! He overcame a lot in his life, and now, He's with Jesus!

Visitation will be on Monday, September 27th, from 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM at Multiply Church in Suite 15. A celebration of life service will be at 4:00 PM following the visitation.

I love you, Pops!
(& Without fail, I can still hear him say, "love you too, my son!")

The abusive, excessive & inhumane use of force that cost the life of an unarmed black man (George Floyd) who was being detained by the police for questioning about a non-violent charge is absolutely NOT acceptable! Asking everyone to pray for this mans family, our city & our Nation! God heal our land!
