Today, we are celebrating an incredible single mom, Emberlene! ❤️🏡
In partnership with Habitat for Humanity, we had the honor of helping bless Emberlene and her daughter, Leeahna, with a brand new home of their own!
Emberlene has been part of the Unforsaken family since Leeahna, who is now a teenager, was just a toddler. Over the years, Emberlene has worked multiple jobs, earned her college degree, and remained a constant source of love and support for her daughter, all while navigating the challenges of single motherhood.
Throughout the years, Unforsaken has been there to remind Emberlene and Leeahna that they are seen, loved, supported, and never alone. From school haircuts and holiday meals to oil changes, encouragement, and countless opportunities for Leeahna, their family has experienced the impact of a community that truly cares.
Now, after years of perseverance, sacrifice, and faithfulness, they are officially homeowners! 🏠✨ After nearly two months in their new home, they are already creating beautiful memories, from sleepovers and volleyball in the yard to home cooked meals in their amazing new kitchen.
This home represents so much more than four walls. It represents safety, stability, answered prayers, and a new chapter for this incredible mother and daughter.
As Emberlene shared, “My prayer has always been that she knows she is loved, that she knows her worth, and that she understands that her circumstances do not determine how far she can go in life. Unforsaken has helped reinforce that message. I am incredibly grateful for the support, love, opportunities, and community they have given us.”
“When you support Unforsaken, you aren’t simply helping a single mother financially or providing something for a child. You are reminding a family that they matter. You are giving a mom encouragement to keep going. You are showing a child that there is an entire community believing in her future.”
Congratulations, Emberlene and Leeahna! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all that God does in and through your new home. ❤️
They are not forsaken, and neither are you. ❤️
