Looking for Potential Board Members
Over the past few years, what started as a small Bible study has grown into something much larger than I ever imagined. Through Bible studies, events, outreach, resources, and community, God has continued opening doors for SSC Ministries to reach and serve people across multiple states.
We have also connected with some amazing churches, organizations, and individuals who have expressed interest in partnering with us. Through much prayer, research, and wise counsel, we have realized that in order to steward those partnerships well and operate at our fullest capacity, pursuing nonprofit status is the next step for the ministry.
Our goal is not simply to grow, but to build a strong foundation that allows us to serve more people, create greater accessibility to our programs, develop meaningful partnerships, and ensure the ministry can continue making an impact for years to come. A nonprofit structure also provides accountability, transparency, and stewardship as SSC Ministries continues to grow.
As part of this process, we are beginning to prayerfully seek individuals who may be interested in serving on our founding Board of Directors. We are looking for people who are grounded in their faith, committed to prayer, and passionate about helping others grow in their relationship with Christ. We are looking for men and women. This is to help us uphold biblical standards as well.
Experience in any of the following areas would be especially valuable:
• Ministry or church leadership
• Nonprofit leadership
• Finance or accounting
• Legal or compliance
• Business operations
• Marketing, communications, or fundraising
• Disability advocacy and inclusion
• Community outreach and engagement
Most importantly, we are seeking individuals who are willing to provide wisdom, accountability, guidance, and prayer as we continue following where God is leading this ministry.
