Beloved Family and Friends,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. On this holy and joyful day, we gather with hearts full of gratitude to celebrate the glorious mystery of Christmas—the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Light of the world, who came to dwell among us.
The Christmas story reminds us that God chose humility over splendor. Christ was not born in a palace, but in a manger; not surrounded by royalty, but by shepherds and ordinary people. In this sacred moment, we see the depth of God’s love—a love that meets us where we are and lifts us into hope. Through the birth of Jesus, God declared to the world that no life is insignificant and no situation is beyond His redeeming power.
As we celebrate today, let us remember that Christmas is more than a season of joy, gifts, and fellowship. It is a call to live out the message of Christ in our daily lives. The child born in Bethlehem grew to teach us love, forgiveness, humility, and sacrifice. He came to heal the brokenhearted, to bring peace to troubled souls, and to reconcile humanity to God.
In a world often marked by division, uncertainty, and hardship, the message of Christmas speaks clearly: “Do not be afraid.” Christ comes as our peace. He reminds us that hope is not found in material things, but in a relationship with God and in love for one another. Let us therefore be instruments of peace in our homes, our communities, and our nation. Let our words build, our actions heal, and our lives reflect the love of Christ.
To those who are struggling, grieving, or facing difficult circumstances, know that the birth of Jesus assures us that God is near. Emmanuel—God with us—is not just a name, but a promise. God walks with you, strengthens you, and will never abandon you.
As we look ahead to the coming year, I encourage each of you to renew your faith, deepen your prayer life, and recommit yourselves to serving God and humanity. May this Christmas inspire us to show compassion to the poor, kindness to the lonely, forgiveness to those who have hurt us, and generosity to all.
On behalf of Global Reconciliation Ministries in Christ, I extend warm Christmas greetings to every family, every congregation, and every individual. May the joy of Christ’s birth fill your hearts, may His peace guard your homes, and may His love guide your steps throughout the year ahead.
Merry Christmas, and may God richly bless you all
