n called Asatru. As a kindred we are no longer many, we are "1" United by the folk spirit of our noble ancestors. we are not just friends, buddies, pals... We are a family of righteous men and woman who share the same ideals, beliefs, and blood. We stand together under all circumstances with a warrior spirit, we celebrate and commune together.within the framework of a kindred we are all equal, all freemen. Within this equality every kinsman and kinswoman has the obligation to live in a honorable and responsible manner. we are to always consider the harm and benefits of our actions and how they will effect and reflect on the kindred. being in this kindred is not a fix all nor is this kindred accepting or forgiving of dishonorable deeds. we will not tolerate any member or seeker that brings dishonor to themselves. We expect commitment, strength, heroism, and an undying pride in yourself, you ancestry and your beliefs. I am sharing my knowledge and beliefs with all who wish to seek this information but i will not call all my brethren/sisters. A position in a kindred is earned. Var is the goddess of oaths. She rules all contracts and marriage agreements. She listens to the oaths people make to one another. She pays special attention to oaths between man and woman. She is said to take retribution on anyone who breaks their vows. She is usually invoked to help strengthen ones will to help keep their promises

Invocation to Var:

Syn (refusal, justice, truth)
Syn is one of Frigga’s handmaidens and her doorkeeper. She guards the door of Frigga’s hall (Fenislar) refuses all who are unworthy or uninvited. She is known as the goddess of legal defense. She is called upon to guide and protect defendants through trials and those who have been wrongly accused of crimes.

Invocation to Syn:
