One of the biggest misconceptions about salvation is thinking that once you’re saved, the struggle is over.

But that is not what Scripture teaches.

God is still working in us. We will walk, we will fall, we will get back up, and we will keep learning to trust Him through every season. Struggle does not mean your faith is fake. It means God is still shaping you, growing you, and teaching you to depend on Him.

You were not created by accident.

God placed something inside of you on purpose, and your calling does not have to look like anyone else’s. Not everyone is meant to preach on a stage, but every single person has been given something that can be used for the kingdom of God.

We are in a fight every single day.

We are called to stand firm, stay faithful, and keep our fire for God burning no matter what comes against us. Following Jesus is not weakness. It takes surrender, endurance, passion and strength.

We are not soft.

This podcast has been such a blessing.

When we started Rooted & Radiant with Lydia, we simply wanted to create a space where people could share their stories, talk about faith and encourage one another in Christ. What we didn’t expect was just how much joy, love and hope would come from these conversations.

Every guest who has sat down with us has brought something special
honesty, testimony, wisdom and reminders of how God is working in our lives.

I truly feel called to do this for God and I’m so grateful for every conversation and every person who has been part of the journey so far.
