Gregory the Great Christian Community, we model and share Catholic values, beliefs, and heritage. We believe that communication and collaboration are essential among all members. We believe in the basic worth of each person and respect their individual differences and unique qualities. Social justice concerns are central to our Catholic teaching and community. We believe in the importance of respecting each other and those who are different from ourselves. Adults and children are taught and encouraged to minister to the needs of the local and global communities through prayer, education, and service.

Today a few members of our ARISE participants are helping the Knights of Columbus with their Tootsie Roll Drive! Part of the donations received benefit ARISE, the special needs program we have at St. Gregory the Great Parish & School . Stop over at the Piggly Wiggly on 102nd & National and come visit us! If you need to contact the school office, our summer hours are the following.
June 8 – 30: Monday - Thursday 9am-2pm, Friday 9am-noon
July: office closed- call for an appointment
August 1-19: Monday - Thursday 9am-2pm, Friday 9am-noon

Giving Garden Wrap Up
3rd and 5th grades finished up their time in the Giving Garden this week by planting peppers, squash, green beans and herbs, and harvesting their first produce for our St. Vincent De Paul Food pantry. We’ll be providing many bags of delicious mixed lettuce, radishes and onions this Saturday. (Check out the winning radish!) Thanks to the wonderful students and teachers at St. Greg’s who committed their time to our outdoor gardens, and the hydroponic garden this Spring. 5th graders also presented their final lab reports from their experiment measuring the difference between plants grown hydroponically and plants grown in soil. We ended our time in the garden with a blessing by Deacon Tim Waldoch (who also provided the pepper and squash plants).
