AFC continued with "Fruit of the Spirit" for VBS this year. “By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” Gal 5:22-23a.
We learned that the fruit grows naturally in a person's life over time through a close connection with God, rather than by human effort alone.

Highlights of vacation Bible school week.

As followers of Christ, we're called to love our neighbors, seek justice, and work for the good of our communities. One way we can live out that calling is by being informed and participating in our elections.

Early voting in Wisconsin begins July 28, and the Primary Election is August 11. Primaries help decide who will appear on the November ballot, making them one of the most important opportunities to make your voice heard.

We encourage you to pray for wisdom, take time to learn about the candidates, and make a plan to vote.

"Seek the peace and prosperity of the city... Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper." — Jeremiah 29:7

Let's be faithful stewards of the opportunities God has given us and seek the good of our communities.
