There seems to be conflicting theories in Christianity about peace. We are constantly told by unbelievers and denominationally enslaved believers that we must constantly seek to make peace when there is no peace, that we have to help those who cause harm and death find peace.
I don’t think Yahshua ever commissioned us to do any such thing.
I think we’re supposed to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. We’re supposed to use the knowledge of the serpents against them in order to protect the poor, the marginalized, the hungry, the homeless and the hopeless.
You can’t offer hope to someone not seeking it.
We have to provide hope to the hopeless and use our wisdom, our words, and our spirits to shield them from the serpents.
We can turn the other cheek when they harm us, but we don’t stand in the way when they face justice for their cruelty and wickedness. That chastisement from the world is earned and deserved.
We aren’t called to be at peace with those making war on the world.
We are to be at peace with our salvation so we are not afraid when the serpents strike, and bite and attack.
Our King has us in His hands. Whatever He allows for us, is okay with us. Like Daniel, the lion’s den holds no terror for us.
It will hold terror for those who threw us in after we rise from it. Selah

The challenges of another christ-mass is upon us.
I personally do not celebrate christ-mass, not anymore.
I was raised primarily Lutheran and christ-mass had an important role to play in that demonination although it is just the celebration of another form of catholic mass, which it took me a while to unravel.
But this year I don’t want to talk about the should we or shouldn’t we celebrate part of the challenge, but rather on ridding ourselves of old vices.
Vices are just bad habits we know are unhealthy for us but we continue to engage in them and enjoy them. There are many vices from alcohol to promiscuity, from greed to sloth.
There are various forms of Christianity in the world and at a certain baseline level they all tend to become judgmental of those outside their denomination, hence the reasons they are in this denomination and not that other one.
People find baseline reasons to belong to one organization of believers rather than another.
In my short time on earth, sixty plus now, I have discovered that the only unifying principle that really unites us in the Messiyah’s body, is truth.
That’s it.
It’s not about the Bible, or the stories, or the commandments, or even Yahshua Himself.
It’s truth.
And the truth, the truth is difficult, far more difficult than we want to believe it is.
It can seem easy to be outspoken and honest, to be prayerful and praiseworthy, but to walk truthfully in the light of the path He has created for us, challenges our core beliefs, teachings, values and prejudices.
We aren’t perfect. None of us are. So this truthfulness, this honesty is hard for sinners.
When we preach to others about releasing their vices, letting go of sins they embrace and enjoy, it might seem easy for us to let go - and we don’t fully comprehend how difficult it is for them to let go.
Come on, it’s easy. Just let go.
When a rich young man in Scripture asks Yahshua what he needs to do to gain eternal life, Yahshua gives him the “religious” response. Do this and that as written in the Bible and you’re good.
But the rich young man pushed him further, so Yahshua gave him the difficult answer, the one he wasn’t ready for.
If you really are serious about following Me, sell all you have, give to the poor, and come with me.
Of course, we know the young man walked away because he wasn’t ready to surrender this vice even for Yahshua Himself.
Now I want to talk about christ-mass.
It’s not a true holiday. Yahshua never instructed us to celebrate His birth. We don’t know what day is actually His birthday.
Christ-mass is a holiday created by a sinful power-hungry organization on a day already being celebrated by others. They stole many of what they labeled pagans traditions to give meaning and purpose to this holiday. It’s a lie. Everything about it is a lie.
What can people who are sworn to upholding truth find good about a lie?
And now the challenge, if Yahshua Himself said to you, Stop celebrating christ-mass and follow Me, would you? Could you?
Most christians go through their lives never changing religiously, never growing spiritually. They are taught to respect their elders and religious leaders and follow the traditions handed down to them. That’s baseline Christianity. That’s where most Christians live.
But Yahshua Himself was a rebel. He told them that their leaders and their traditions were not correct. He said, I am the way, the truth, and the light.
That made a lot of believers really mad.
When you tell people you don’t celebrate christ-mass, they often get mad at you.
Why?
I think it’s because deep down in their hearts, in their spirits, they are feeling judged by your presence and testimony. They know it’s not you judging them. I don’t judge anyone for celebrating. What bothers them most is, they know the truth, and this lie is a vice they want to maintain because it makes them feel good and it’s tradition. People feel safe in traditions.
But walking with Yahshua and the truth is not an easy or safe way to go.
That’s where you have to believe that Yahweh is your Shepherd and He will see you through.
Helping people rid themselves of christ-mass corruption is liking helping an alcoholic to stop drinking. You can’t help them until they want to be helped. They have to see something deeper within themselves that wants to go the way of the uncomfortable truth rather than the way of mortal comfort.
That thing deeper inside is the light of the Messiyah. Only He can do the saving. I can plant. I can water. But only Yahshua can make the seed grow.

Christian Nationalism in America is not unlike satan taking Yahshua up on an exceedingly high mountain and promising him all the kingdoms of the world if He would bow down to him.
Christian Nationalism follows antichrists because they don’t understand or have real faith in the Gospel. They need a worldly vessel willing to do evil to protect them and then convince themselves that “god” sent this person to serve them and help them.
The problem is, antichrist serve themselves. And they demand obedience before they reward you. And the real kicker is, antichrists are liars. They don’t follow through on their promises. They are not going to give you the power and control you want because it’s theirs and they aren’t going to share it.
Think about it. Why would anyone who gets you to bow to them, share with you the power they have? You were a fool and a tool for a con artist. Selah
Christian Nationalism has lost faith in the Gospel because the Gospel doesn’t say anything about building a worldly kingdom or safe place for Christians to live and prosper. That was not part of the Good News. Not in this world.
Christian Nationalism wants to believe that you are expected to prosper and lead here on earth as well as in heaven.
The Gospel was given to us to bring hope to the hopeless. There is a kingdom to come, one where Yahshua rules. It’s not here on earth. It exists only as a message in the voices, hands and hearts of His disciples. We are strangers in this strange world. We can’t be so comfortable in it that we want to stay and become part of it. It’s fleeting and vain and going to end. Everything here will end. Selah
We are called to be messengers of light in a dark, cruel, selfish and violent world.
Don’t let this scare you.
Let it embolden you. Let it make you stronger through His Spirit, not your own. Selah
Christian Nationalism gives antichrist power.
We who see Yahshua as our King, the Son of YHWH, do not recognize the authority of any kingdom of earth over us.
We will shine.
We will preach.
We will teach.
We will comfort.
We will forgive.
We will heal.
We will love.

The bold commanding strutting pastors. We’ve all seen them. They take to the stage like the pulpit is a theater and they are the principal actor. Everyone has come to see them, to hear them.
And they start commanding. They start issuing orders. They boast about putting evil spirits down and where they walk is holy ground. Nothing can harm them because God is with them and filling them with the power to build a kingdom on earth.
I don’t believe that is how it works.
Now I don’t have a problem with a pastor who is loud and excited, who is professing and teaching in a theatrical manner. I believe there are many administrations and ways of delivering Yahweh’s truth to people. Not everyone hears the message in the same way so different ministers with different styles is a good thing.
But in saying that, I think there are dangerous preacher who use worldly boldness to entertain audiences and mislead flocks. Selah
As followers of the way, we must not forget that we are strangers in a strange land. This is not our world and these are not our kingdoms.
We are sent to bring a message of peace, mercy, kindness, charity and forgiveness to this land.
We are not here to subjagate it. We don’t have authority over it. We aren’t here to make the land we walk upon holy. Selah
Humbly, we represent Yahshua. That’s it. We aren’t casting down anything. We aren’t turning over anything.
We aren’t here to conquer.
This world is fallen. It’s already lost. Some of us may live in a places where everything seems peaceful and good but we know it’s not. Sin is sin and we are all sinners saved by grace.
Some sin is violent and chaotic and endangers life.
Other sins are more sinister and sneaky like a snake, creeping up unawares and taking little bites, slowly consuming you and tearing away bits of faith.
It’s amazing how faithless people who have much can be. Their life becomes a series of journeys to protect the lifestyles they are managing, rather than trusting in Yahweh and being about Yahshua’s work without consideration of losing things. Selah
Don’t fall for those preachers stomping across stages as if “God” has given them authority to rule on earth and build their mighty ministry and guide governments and nations. These are antichrists.
Be about the small things daily.
If your neighbors are hungry, feed them.
If your friends need help, help them.
If a stranger is hopeless, help them discover hope.
Not through words.
Not through preaching.
Do it with love. Do it with your hands. Do it with whatever resources you’ve been blessed to possess.
Tomorrow is not promised to you and the things of this world and these fallen kingdoms is temporary.
Use what you have today to help whoever crosses your path needing help.
You don’t have to go out and purposefully seek people to help. Just be prepared at all times to be patient, gentle and giving with a good and kindly heart.
Don’t count the cost of helping those Yahshua put on your path.
In fact, if you’re going to count any costs, consider how it harms your spirit if you hold back helps you were perfectly capable of giving.
Most of those stompers on those stages are focused on their empires and they know it costs money to keep their empires running.
It doesn’t cost us anything to do what we do because everything we have comes from the Creator of the world. We are rich when we are poor. We don’t have to entertain an audience to stay in His good graces. Selah

Hmmm 🤔
Where to begin.
There is no rapture. Humanity cannot force the time of Christ’s return. Millions will suffer and die in a nuclear holocaust and it’s insane if anyone cheers for end times to be upon us. End times for the earth really shouldn’t be any of our concern. Why are rumors of wars only applicable when they reach your country or your ears? The world is constantly at war. There are wars everywhere. Millions of people die every day because of evil people with weapons, because of evil governments, because of homelessness, poverty, thirst, and hunger. The end times for you is the day you draw your final breath. Think on that and think about what good you can do today to alleviate the suffering of others. Whatever the Creator puts on your path to do, do it with a joyful and giving heart. Pay attention. Be awake. Be wise as the serpents but harmless as doves.
Don’t cheer for the suffering of others.
Many say peace, peace, when there is no peace. Selah

I don’t believe the Messiyah’s message includes sending people seeking sanctuary back to where they came from because of imaginary lines drawn in the sand. YHWH is a lot bigger than any country. In fact, countries are nothing more than specks of sand. The Creator and His Son Yahshua regards each human life more important than any country. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that how we treat the least of those amongst us is how we are treating Him. Selah

I know this is difficult for many people to understand because the truth has been whitewashed for generations in order to drive home a political agenda but the truth is still the truth and nothing can cover it forever.
Voting.
I’m not saying voting isn’t important or that you shouldn’t vote. Millions have suffered and some have died in order to get certain groups of people the right to vote.
But, as followers of the Way, we must understand that voting has nothing to do with the Messiyah’s message to us. When we are told the truth will set us free, it is not the truth of voting. In fact, in entire history of humankind, western democracies that allow all their people to vote is an infinitesimal fraction. The majority of people who have existed never had the right to vote, and probably never lived in a kingdom where the right to vote was an option.
So what does it mean to truly be free?
Freedom, for me, is the right to express myself. By Word. The ability to speak, to write, to call for justice when an injustice has been done, is freedom.
Are you free?
Do you merely go and vote and then checkout?
Do you have a voice and opinion you’re too scared to express?

Think about it.
Voting is secret. You don’t tell anyone who you voted for, or you might tell a few trusted family and friends. But it’s secret. There’s no risk. No threat.
But if you speak up, everyone is going to know where you stand. Selah
If you speak truth to power, you’re going to upset some people. In fact, you might have family, friends and colleagues who suddenly treat you differently for voicing your opinions, your beliefs.
How many people have jobs where they have been told they can’t speak certain things or get involved in certain things even outside of work or it might be detrimental to their job?
Are you really free if you’re silenced by those conditions?
We are born in the image of the Creator. His Son was persecuted and died for speaking truth to power.
He wasn’t persecuted for voting.
He was persecuted for speaking truth to power.
As followers of the Way, we need to stop being afraid of the consequences for speaking truth to power. We need to be like Yahshua. We need to condemn unrighteousness and injustice and theft and inhumanity with our voices and with our pens. This is what the majority of people throughout history have done when faced with petty kings and ungodly tyrants. Don’t let them steal your voice by restricting it to a vote.
When a gangster is on trial, who do they want to intimidate and silence? Witnesses.
When government officials want to cheat, steal and destroy the system, who do they want to intimidate and silence?
Witnesses.
They don’t want you talking. They don’t want you spreading the truth.
I truly believe, as followers of the Way,?our only truth isn’t that the Son of Yahweh came, lived, died and rose again. We aren’t actual witnesses to that. We, by faith, believe it happened, but we’re not witnesses.
Today, however, you are witness to much. There is some good being done but there’s a lot of evil in high places as well. We are witnesses to many things.
Is the burden to heavy?
Can we shoulder the weight? The responsibility?
Or do we fear mankind and the consequences for speaking truth to power?
As a follower of the Way, I believe this life is short and the suffering short as well. I believe there’s an eternity of health and prosperity to be had. There’s also an eternity of suffering.
The Creator gave me a voice, a mind, a heart. He is amongst us in the people who are scared, and cold, and hungry, and homeless. As long as I have breath, I will speak to their cause, and condemn the unrighteous and injust who torment and afflict them with pain and debt.
They are not my enemy.
I will not war against them physically.
But I will heap coals on their heads by using what the Creator gave me to call them out.
My voice, my mind and my heart.
I vote every day with my voice, my mind, and my heart because I don’t belong to any kingdom on earth.
I am a stranger in a strange land.
I serve a universal King who embodies and rewards those who stand for truth, justice, compassion, mercy, kindness, charity and love.
No kingdom on earth can make that claim. And for my voice, mind and heart, none of them deserve my vote.

Why is the love the Messiyah Yahshua spoke of so unique to the sorts of love the world speaks of?
I believe it is because worldly love is still selfish and incapable of giving all.
Selah.
Worldly love has limits, lines of self preservation.
Now a parent or a child might step over this line because it is close kin and to sacrifice for them seems noble and worthy as well as expected. We even see it in soldiers who are willing to put their lives on the line for an ideal.
But to give one’s all for a neighbor or a stranger in the moment is often far beyond the scope of human love. And to do what would seem economically disadvantageous might appear nearly insane.
But the Messiyah Yahshua gave His all for us. He suffered violence and was humbled before his enemies before dying an inglorious death on the pole.
Every day, we must challenge our faith and our spirit to be wise and to be bold, and if it becomes necessary, do as He has done.
Prepare to be unique. Holy and sanctified. Golden. Amen 🙏
