Pastor Dan shared a meaningful farewell message with our church this week, and it was a powerful reminder of what truly matters.

His sermon centered on Jesus’ words in John 15 about abiding in Christ. He reminded us that just as branches must stay connected to the vine, everything our church does, every act of service, every prayer, every step of faith, comes from remaining rooted in Jesus.

Pastor Dan left us with three encouragements:
• Remain united in Christ
• Trust God’s Word during seasons of change
• Give thanks for God’s faithfulness

Looking back over the past few years, it’s clear how God has been at work in our church through worship, discipleship, outreach, missions, and the way people have cared for one another and our community.

We’re thankful for Pastor Dan’s leadership and for the ways he has pointed us to Christ and to the truth of Scripture. As our church moves into a new season, his message was a good reminder that the future of the church belongs to the Lord, and His Word and mission remain the same.

We are grateful for the time we have had with Pastor Dan and his family. We are prayerful abiding for our next pastor and we are excited to see what God continues to do in our church and our community.

With both joy and sadness, we are saying goodbye to Pastor Dan and his family who are moving to the Lincoln area. We want to thank Pastor Dan for his faithful service to our church. We are holding a fond farewell celebration with the Hall family after service on March 15th. Pastor Ray Beless will be preaching on the rest of the Sundays in March. Join us as we worship our great and awesome God together on Sundays at 10 am! We are also asking for prayers for our former pastor Phil McGlauflin who is facing health issues. Pastor Phil was willing to help out during our time of transition but is now unable to do so.

Join us tomorrow as we continue to celebrate the joy of the advent season. Eli Saunders will be sharing and raising support for his upcoming to missionary trip to Kenya through Great Commission Ministries.

Eli will be spending 3 weeks in Eldoret, Kenya where he will be serving full time at the church there helping the people of Kenya and learning music through the church organization there.

Great Commission Ministries is a Mission organization that seeks to Help children who need food, shelter, clothing and education while keeping the focus the Gospel and Discipleship through local Churches. We believe those whom we rescue from the streets should be plugged into a local body of believers which the New Testament calls the church.

We will be collecting a love offering for Eli. You can also donate to his GoFundMe page here:
