I’ve personally stopped by a few times this week, made some new connections and have seen the Lord move in beautiful ways. I know that’s other’s testimonies from coming here as well, and it’s just so encouraging…And it’s only the beginning!

Yesterday was unbelievable, it was supposed to be a "soft opening" to learn how the shop would run, to figure out what we are doing, and how to do it, well the Lord has other plans. The way He showed up, His presence was and is simply undeniable. As April and I have been reflecting on yesterday, trying to soak it all in, we are simply blown away! The support, the conversations, the friends who stopped by, the people who just randomly stopped in, the folks that kept coming even after the espresso machine was shut down and the door was locked. I could go on and on and on, yesterday was more than we could ever have asked for or imagined, a testimony in and of itself. We are blessed by each interaction and are thrilled that on day 1, The Dwelling Place was exactly what we have envisioned.

I grabbed this picture of Peter as it encompasses everything about The Dwelling Place. Picking out these green chairs, this is exactly what we had in mind. Well, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'm going to stop typing...

We can’t wait for The Dwelling Place to open!! ☕️

Update! 🤍

We have been working nonstop, and we are so grateful for the incredible people who have come alongside us to help set up, build furniture, and bring this dream to life. We truly couldn't do it without such an amazing community!

There is still so much to do, but for the first time, we can really see the finish line in sight. Our inspections are scheduled, and we'll be focusing on training and putting the final touches on everything.

Thank you all for your excitement, your prayers, your patience, and your understanding. This entire journey has been a walk of faith, and we've seen God's hand guiding every step. His timing has been perfect, even when it hasn't matched our own.

In the meantime, here's a little sneak peek of one of the very first pieces I bought as part of the vision for The Dwelling Place. I absolutely love it, and seeing it in its place makes everything feel so real!

We can't wait to open our doors and dwell with all of you. Thank you for walking this journey with us! 🤍
