Sometimes people wonder if serving in Kids Ministry really makes a difference…
Then messages like these come in. 🥹🤍
A parent shared that after class, their child went home explaining the lesson in detail and said:
“God is more powerful than sin, lies, and evil.”
But what impacted me even more was hearing that the child added this into their nightly prayer:
“God, don’t allow sin, lies, and evil in our hearts.”
THIS is why we serve.
Not for recognition.
Not for titles.
Not because it’s always easy.
But because seeds are being planted in little hearts every single week.
And this summer, while schedules change and routines slow down, the opportunity to impact a child’s life only grows bigger. ☀️🌿
Summer in Kids Ministry isn’t just about keeping kids busy…
It’s about helping them encounter Jesus, build friendships, grow in truth, and create foundations that last far beyond summer break.
Our volunteers are helping children learn how to hear God, pray boldly, know truth, and walk confidently in who God created them to be.
To every current volunteer:
THANK YOU.
Your consistency matters.
Your prayers matter.
Your “yes” matters more than you know.
Even when you feel tired or wonder if the kids are listening… they are. 🤍
And to those thinking about joining our team this summer:
There is room for you here.
You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to know everything.
You just have to be willing to love kids and point them to Jesus.
Because the next generation doesn’t just need entertainment…
They need encounters with Jesus. ✨
