💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙

“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.” — Psalm 103:13

Today we celebrate the dads, grandpas, stepdads, spiritual fathers, and father figures who love, guide, encourage, and show compassion to the children in their lives.

Fatherhood isn’t about perfection—it’s about faithfully showing up with love, patience, grace, and a heart that reflects our Heavenly Father.

To every man who prays for the next generation, teaches them God’s truth, cheers them on, wipes away tears, and points them toward Jesus: thank you.

At LHFKids, we are grateful for the fathers and father figures who help shape young hearts and remind children what God’s love looks like every day.

Whether you’re driving to activities, cleaning the house, or getting ready for bed, these songs are a great way to keep God’s truth in their hearts and minds.

🎉 TONIGHT IS FAMILY NIGHT! 🎉

We have something special planned for our Midweek Service tonight at 7 PM, and you won’t want to miss it!

This week, our kids have had an incredible time at Kingdom Quest VBS, and tonight they’ll be leading us in worship as we celebrate all that God has done in their hearts. ❤️🙌

Bring the whole family and join us for an unforgettable evening filled with worship, celebration, and fun!

💦 After service, stick around for FREE water fun for everyone! Be sure to bring a towel and a change of clothes because we’re making a splash!

SUPER SUNDAY + BUILT ON FAITH = A BEAUTIFUL COMBINATION

Today our LHFKids joined the adults in the sanctuary for praise and worship before heading back to class for Week 5 of our Built on Faith series.

There is something powerful about children seeing moms, dads, grandparents, and church family lifting their hands, singing, praying, and pursuing Jesus together. We don’t just want our kids to learn about worship—we want them to experience it.

Back in class, we learned that prayer is one of the most important faith blocks we can build into our lives. Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6, reminding us that prayer is simply talking to our Heavenly Father and trusting His will above our own.

Our takeaway today:
✨ “I will follow Jesus’ example and pray to my Father in heaven.” ✨

My favorite part? Looking around the room and seeing kids worshipping boldly, participating in prayer, and growing in their faith. The next generation isn’t waiting for someday—they are encountering Jesus right now.

Parents, keep the conversation going this week:
❤️ Pray together.
❤️ Read Matthew 6:9-13 together.
❤️ Ask your child what they learned about prayer today.

We’re building more than lessons.
We’re building foundations. 🧱

Sometimes people wonder if serving in Kids Ministry really makes a difference…

Then messages like these come in. 🥹🤍

A parent shared that after class, their child went home explaining the lesson in detail and said:
“God is more powerful than sin, lies, and evil.”

But what impacted me even more was hearing that the child added this into their nightly prayer:
“God, don’t allow sin, lies, and evil in our hearts.”

THIS is why we serve.

Not for recognition.
Not for titles.
Not because it’s always easy.
But because seeds are being planted in little hearts every single week.

And this summer, while schedules change and routines slow down, the opportunity to impact a child’s life only grows bigger. ☀️🌿

Summer in Kids Ministry isn’t just about keeping kids busy…
It’s about helping them encounter Jesus, build friendships, grow in truth, and create foundations that last far beyond summer break.

Our volunteers are helping children learn how to hear God, pray boldly, know truth, and walk confidently in who God created them to be.

To every current volunteer:
THANK YOU.
Your consistency matters.
Your prayers matter.
Your “yes” matters more than you know.
Even when you feel tired or wonder if the kids are listening… they are. 🤍

And to those thinking about joining our team this summer:
There is room for you here.

You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to know everything.
You just have to be willing to love kids and point them to Jesus.

Because the next generation doesn’t just need entertainment…
They need encounters with Jesus. ✨

Come help us encourage, equip, and empower the next generation to know Him deeply this summer.
