The School/PTT and the Knights hosted a Back to School and Knights’ Awards celebration after 10:30 Mass today. The kids and the young at heart enjoyed Rita’s Water and Philly Soft Pretzels. During the celebration, Knights’Council 3501 presented Fr. Sahd with a check for $20,000.00 for the Capital Campaign. A great time was had by all!

The Knights of Columbus Council 3501 invite you to the Annual Blue Mass on Thursday, September 10th at 6:00 PM at Seven Sorrows BVM Church.
We gather in prayer and gratitude for our police officers, firefighters, EMS, and all first responders, honoring their service, courage, and sacrifice.
In recognition of the 25th anniversary of September 11th, we also remember those who gave their lives and those who continue to serve today.
Please join us in praying for all first responders, their families, and our community heroes.

Summer 2026 has been one thus far that has put stress and burden upon Central Pennsylvania’s first responders. Whether it be excessive heat, violent storm damage or water rescue emergencies, volunteer companies have felt summer’s worst and responded for the greater community.

The Knights of Columbus Council completed their Hydrate our Hero's program. The project was to provide cases of water to our local fire departments. Thanks to the EXTREME generosity of our Parishioners, community, and local businesses we were able to provide 40 cases of water to Elizabethtown Fire Dept Station 74, Londonderry Fire Company, Lower Swatara Fire Department,Middletown Volunteer Fire Department, Citizen's Fire Company #1 of Highspire, Swatara Fire-Rescue and the 193rd Special Operations Group. We also were able to provide 35 cases to the Harrisburg Diocese in support of Camp Kirchenwald a residential summer camp for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Special Thank You go out to GIANT, Karns Foods, Greiner Industries, Guernsey Inc., Bobby Rahal, a big anonymous donor and of course our Parishioners!!! We hope people realize that making a difference doesn’t always require a huge effort. One case of water may seem small, but when hundreds of people each do a little, it adds up to something truly incredible.
