Good afternoon Calvary!
My apologies in not having a prayer list last week.
For the week beginning today 8/17/2026:
We praise God for the recovery that Melva is having with her finger and continue to pray for restoration.
Melva's daughter is continuing to have many issues with the sciatica and is not able to work at the moment.
Kathy and Elbert Drake-- I don't know the extent of what is going on with them health wise, but I do know they've missed several weeks at church, and are greatly missed.
Brittany Fowler--For those who missed my Urgent post last night, this is a coworker of mine, Jason and Amber's at Pizza Hut. She was squadded out. I have not heard any updates yet.
Winter Rutherford--This is my 8 month old granddaughter. She is currently at Dayton Children's because she's not gaining weight like she should be. I did get an update this afternoon that she has started to gain, so pray hard! Her brother is staying with his dad (my son).
Bob Grim--Most know this is my husband. He's had quite a bit of pain in his feet. He hasn't sought medical attention yet, but likely needs to. Pray for that push to do that so he can feel better.
Debbie Ferguson --Antibiotics being taken for an infection. Pray they work quickly and completely.
Chuck and Diana--Traveling mercies as they enjoy their time away.
Tom Anderson and family--This is the man who filled for Chuck yesterday and will be filling in again this coming Sunday. Pray that his messages are exactly what God asks.
Mike Lenos and family--Will be filling in the 3rd week for Chuck. Pray also for his message to be exactly what God asks.
Lifewise--Enrollment continues at the schools that are available so we can bring the Word of God to as many as possible.
Speaking of schools, please be praying as some districts have already started the new school year, and at least one starts tomorrow. Our school children need protection from many things at school. Pray for school bus drivers and aides in this heat. I don't think any Lakota buses have air conditioning, so even with all the windows down, it's not very good. We have hundreds of personnel in the following school districts, as well as the many charter schools and Butler Tech:

Pray for protection, that they are able to safely do their job, and that good relationships are established with students. Anyone can impact a student's life--its up to us to make it an impact that God wants us to have.
