He will be signing CCPs on Friday 24th September from 2:30pm until about 8:00pm at the Presbytery. Please just turn up between those times, there is no need to book a slot.

We will announce more dates for CCP signing in the coming days.

Thank you for signing up to these updates. Please don’t forget, however, to keep an eye on the church website as usual. https://harrowcatholicchurch.org

Our Page Centre will now be open for the use of toilets and a few of our already established groups. No hiring out of the Page Centre will commence for the time being. Sacramental programmes continue and our thanks to Loraine for the Baptism course and our catechists who have once more generously offered their time and energy to accompany our First Holy Communion children and Confirmation candidates through their preparations. We look forward to welcoming the whole parish back IN PERSON to Sunday Mass. If there are any housebound parishioners who would now like a visit, please contact the parish office.

As the school begins to resume this week can we remind parents that the small car park in front of the church SHOULD NOT BE USED to either drop off or pick up children. This area should be left free for the safety of ALL our children, their parents and carers. Half gates have been ordered for our entrances but might not arrive for a few weeks unfortunately. We hope and pray that our teachers and teaching assistants have had a very well-deserved break and are ready to begin their important ministry in our school allowing our children to grow to become the person God has created them to be.

This week we have our Bank Holiday Monday and there will be a Mass at 10am on MONDAY morning. A gentle reminder to those who come to Mass either on weekdays or Sunday- we are still trying to ensure that everyone is safe and therefore track and trace is still important. Please use the QR code at the door of the church or fill in a little slip of paper or register your intent to be at Sunday Mass through the on-line booking. The church is open to everyone and our numbers are slowly increasing. As holidays come to an end we will continue to monitor the situation with our weekday Masses - Wed, Thurs, Fri at 9.30am (at the end of September we will begin to have a 12noon Mass followed by exposition and Rosary most Tuesdays) and Sat vigil at 6pm and Sunday 8.30, 10 and 11.30am. We will continue with these timings as it gives us enough time between Masses to do a general clean up. ONCE AGAIN WE ARE INDEBTED TO THOSE MEN AND WOMEN WHO VOLUNTEER TO CLEAN UP AFTER MASSES - THANK YOU TO ALL OF THEM

2021-22 FIRST RECONCILIATION & FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PROGRAMME
Fr. Derek is inviting parents of children in year 3 or above in September 2021 to register for the 2021-22 First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion Programme. Registration will close on Tuesday 31st August.
Information on how to register can be found on the church’s online noticeboard: https://harrowcatholicchurch.org/notice-board/

Dear parents, this is an invitation for parents of a child in Year 3 (in September 2021) or above to apply for admission to the preparation course for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Due to current Coronavirus rules, we have not set our start date, but now is your time to enrol into our programme entitled “TOGETHER WE BELONG”.
The title is meant to emphasise the close collaboration between our Parish, the children and you, their parents. There will therefore not only be sessions for the children, but also for you, so that you may actively encourage and support them in deepening their faith and love for God and their understanding of the wondrous gifts in God’s forgiveness and the Most Holy Eucharist.
When your child was Baptised, you promised to God to bring them up in the knowledge and practice of our catholic faith. The programme will be a wonderful opportunity for you to renew that promise with even more enthusiasm because of your love for your child. To know and live in the friendship of Our Lord Jesus is a truly wondrous gift sustained by Himself in the Holy Eucharist. May God bless you and your child,
Fr Derek McGuire, Parish Priest

The weekend Masses are beginning to get booked up within a day of going public. The extra numbers appear to be coming from more families wanting to come to Mass. Fr Derek would like to introduce a third Sunday Mass at 10:00am. This would mean that the 11:15am Mass would then become the 11:30am Mass. We will not be able to do this unless we get more stewards and cleaner volunteers. If you would like to volunteer to help us to have an extra Mass, please complete the registration form which can be found here:

We always have plenty going on in the Parish to help to meet new people and grow in faith. Keep an eye on this page to keep up to date with what is going on! Volunteers needed for Stewarding and Cl…
