Be Someone's Hero Today!

Eighty percent of the blood donations given to the Red Cross are collected at mobile blood drives set up at community organizations, companies, high schools, colleges, places of worship or military installations. The remaining 20 percent are collected at fixed Red Cross donor centers.

Tomorrow is the big day! Hoping everyone is ready to donate! Did you know that each donation helps three people? How awesome is that!!!

Be someone's superhero! The number one reason donors say they give blood is because they "want to help others."

After donating, donors are required to rest for fifteen minutes in a refreshment area referred to as the “Canteen.” You will es**rt donors to this area.

Canteen Worker / Refreshment Server:
You will welcome and thank donors, provide beverages/snacks at the Canteen Area, and monitor them for signs of physical reaction to the donation so you can alert staff if needed.

Set up and End of day:
You will be tasked with loading and unloading all medical equipment at the start and end of the day. You can show up just for unloading and loading, or if you want to stay the remainder of the day we will assign you to General Assistance

We also need help with recruiting donors! So please share our page as much as you can.
