It is with profound sorrow, yet unwavering faith, that we acknowledge the homegoing of our beloved brother, Elder Timothy Lyons. His life was a remarkable testimony of faithful service, steadfast leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of God. Through his preaching, wisdom, humility, and love for God’s people, he leaves a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

On behalf of the National Primitive Baptist Convention, USA, we extend our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences to the Lyons family. During this season of grief, we stand with you, trusting in the unfailing promises of God’s Word.

The Psalmist reminds us, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” (Psalm 116:15) While our hearts mourn his absence, heaven rejoices in the arrival of a faithful servant who has finished his course and kept the faith.

May the God of all comfort surround the Lyons family with His peace, strengthen every heart, and remind us all that those who die in Christ rest securely in His eternal presence.

Rest well, Elder Timothy Lyons. Your life, your legacy, and your leadership will never be forgotten.
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)

With humble hearts and thankful spirits, NPBC, USA & Greater Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church of Austin, Texas, gives thanks to God for the faithful life, labor, and Christian witness of Deacon Jimmy Lee Bennett. His unwavering service, steadfast faith, and love for God’s people have left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

In humble submission to the sovereign will of Almighty God, we bow in prayer with the Bennett family, trusting that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8). We celebrate a life well lived, a race well run, and a servant who faithfully answered the Master’s call.

Please join us in lifting the Bennett family and the Greater Mt. Moriah church family in prayer during this season of bereavement. May God’s peace, comfort, and sustaining grace surround them in the days ahead.

Your Servant,
Elder Dr. Oscar Montgomery
