Before they are even born, one of the first prayers we pray for our children is for their protection. And we continue to pray about that nearly every day from then on. The most important concern of any parent is that their child be protected from serious injury and disease. We also want them protected from evil people who desire to do criminal acts against them. And we definitely want them protected from early death. We pray for them to outlive us and enjoy a long and healthy life. It doesn’t matter how old your child is—you can be 99 and your adult child 81—protection will always be a concern. That’s why praying for God’s protection over them is the only way to ever have peace about that.

Women!

Being a first lady or a pastor's wife, while very important does not exclude you from having your own fivefold assignment, some of you are called co-pastors to your husbands, prophetic voices, intercessors, apostles, worship leaders, teachers, etc.

Do not get comfortable in the identity of your spouse and think that because you are helping them you have fulfilled your assignment make sure you learn who God has called you to be and you fulfill that as well, you be held accountable for not only who you helped but also who you became.
